hello

maybeeee one post before i go to bed. it was a long day today yet i didnt do much. i pissed off my parents, got lost in dc aand i walked my dog! i really like driving around in dc. i think its becoming more familiar now and i know how to get to certain places. it really is better not to have a map, you learn so much better without it.

i want to sleep outside with some of the homeless people. i want to talk to them and hear their stories. i want to travel with them (if they travel). i just really want to get out.. on the road.. but i dont really know how i could do it in todays society. i figure it would be a lot harder than in the 50s. but then again, maybe kerouac thought the same thing. but he still did it. so maybe i shouldnt look for some guidebook for how to do this because just like i said: you learn so much better without the map!

well we'll see what happens.
later

  1. You've got your guidebook - On The Road!

All I can tell you is this: If you don't do these things that your soul is calling you to do, some day you'll regret it.

What's keeping you from spending the night in the city with some homeless people? Just one night! See where it leads.

Of course you could get arrested, but think of all the beat people you'll meet in jail.

Just ask yourself: What would Kerouac do?
